The Best Kidlit Books You Read in 2021
You have probably heard of the Newbery Medal, but do you know all of the awards that the American Library Association presents every January?

Come with your favorite book(s) to share. Ideally this would be books eligible for one of the many Youth Media Awards, but don’t sweat it. The goal is that everyone leaves with a list of books to add to their to be read pile, and maybe even is inspired to get up at 6am on January 24 to hear the live announcement. It is the 100th anniversary of the Newbery Medal.
