The Story Genius “From Misbelief to Aha”
“Story is about what happens internally, not externally… the protagonist’s internal struggle is the story’s third rail, the live wire that sparks our interest and drives the story forward.” ― Lisa Cron
Time to work on your character’s “misbelief.” How it started, how it’s preventing your protagonist from achieving what they want (happiness) and sets up the internal struggle that drives/delivers the point of your story and connects to the final “Aha!”.
