Working On: Character Traits
“When writing a novel a writer should create living people; people not characters. A character is a caricature.”
― Ernest Hemingway, Death in the Afternoon
Join us to workshop your main character into an engaging personality that readers will want to go on an adventure with. Selecting the proper traits and tropes is vital to crafting unforgettable and well-rounded characters. Your choices will not only create obstacles and raise the stakes in your story, but also make your characters more relatable and compelling. Be sure to bring a pen because you’ll have an opportunity to apply those tools to your character during our Mingle.
