Lorri Horn Signing Saturday from 10:00am – 11:50am Lorri Horn is an educator and the author of Dewey Fairchild, Parent Problem Solver, which received a starred review from Kirkus Reviews, who included it among the “Best Middle Grade Books of 2017.” The sequel is due out October 2018. Lorri has a degree in English, a teaching credential, has been Nationally Board Certified, and taught public school for 15 years. Jennie Palmer Signing Saturday from 12:00pm – 1:50pm Jennie Palmer’s debut picture book, The Wompananny Witches Make One Mean Pizza, was published by Abrams Books for Young Readers in the fall of 2017. Publisher’s Weekly said of the debut, “It’s a cheerfully offbeat story of common ground—and uncommonly good pizza—bringing diverse neighbors together.” Jennie is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design where she majored in Illustration. She worked as a production designer on the east coast for much of her professional life, most notably as a senior designer for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. During this time Jennie was lucky to have access to some very delicious pizza.
