Join us on the Friday before Writers Day for a Masterclass with Harold Underdown. Only 25 spaces are available so sign up early! The information taught in the Masterclass will be different from Mr. Underdown’s presentations at Writers Day.
Much of writing is revising, but how can writers get from that initial rough draft to polished (and submittable) prose? Reading and re-reading a manuscript can carry one only so far. Over years of work as an in-house and independent editor, I’ve learned a variety of revision tools that can help.
In this hands-on workshop, I’ll present a selection of these tools for use in working on big-picture problems and with final polishing. Attendees will try these out, and be pointed to resources where they can learn even more. For writers of picture books, novels, and narrative nonfiction. Bring a manuscript to use with the hands-on segments.
