Don’t miss this great opportunity to have your manuscript or portfolio critiqued by your SCBWI peers.
Here’s how it will work:
WRITERS: You will be asked to submit 5 pages of your manuscript before the event via a Google form. We will share your manuscript with everyone in your group during the critique.
ILLUSTRATORS: You will be asked to submit your portfolio (5 pieces) or picture book dummy before the event via a Google form. We will share your material (pdf or jpeg) with everyone in your group during the critique.
The SCBWI-L.A. Critique Day: Online Edition is for current SCBWI members only. To become a member, please visit https://www.scbwi.org/join-scbwi to sign up.
This event is open to 50 participants only. When registering, please choose a category. If some categories do not have enough participants to form a group, they may be combined.
The categories are:
Illustrations / Picture Book Dummy
Picture Book
Middle Grade
Young Adult
All Critique Day attendees will be placed into their assigned groups/meeting rooms upon entry into the Zoom session. The Zoom invite link will be emailed to participants ahead of the event.
This unique FREE event is brought to you by the SCBWI-L.A. chapter. You must be logged in to register. Registration will open June 7th at 8am and will close on June 22 at 6:00pm.
Deadline for manuscript submission is June 22nd at 6:00pm.
