Don’t miss this great opportunity to have your manuscript or portfolio critiqued by your SCBWI peers. This unique FREE event is brought to you by the SCBWI-L.A. chapter. You must be logged in to register.
Pack your picnic lunch or enjoy the food available at the Skirball Cultural Center at Zeidler’s Cart. Protect yourself from the sun with sunscreen and/or a hat.
WRITERS: Bring 5 pages (6 copies) to be read aloud
ILLUSTRATORS: Bring a portfolio (5 pieces) or book dummy

When registering, please choose the category for the work you will bring to Critique Day. If not all categories have enough participants to form a group, some categories may be combined.

Picture Book Dummy or Text
Chapter Book / Middle Grade
Young Adult
In general, all Critique Day attendees will be placed into groups upon arrival at the Skirball Cultural Center though presorting is also a possibility.
