PAL Members

PAL stands for “Published and Listed.” PAL members have published books with traditional publishing houses that do not charge money to authors or illustrators.

SCBWI-L.A. supports its PAL members by helping them find an audience for their work and create a supportive network of publishing professionals. Our primary means of communicating these opportunities is via email – so watch your inbox for messages from SCBWI-Los Angeles.

Be sure to take advantage of the PAL membership benefits offered through the SCBWI main office including our Speaker’s Bureau, Virtual Book Launch Parties, and Member Bookstore.

Change your membership level to PAL
Log in to your profile page on SCBWI.org. At the bottom left under Publications, click ADD to enter images and information about your work. For PAL status your work must be available through a qualified publisher. (PAL Publisher Guidelines) When you click SAVE on your profile page, your status will be automatically changed to PAL.
